Giving

Financial policy

The Filling Station is a registered charitable trust, so if you are a UK tax payer all money given can have the tax re-claimed. Please let us know when making a donation that you are a tax payer and we will ask you to sign an authorisation requesting this tax be re-claimed. We are registered charity No. 1131753.

Each local TFS meeting operates a separate bank account to support their own activities. These may or may not be able to re-claim tax. If you wish to donate to your local TFS, make contact with the administrator listed for that meeting and they will be able to assist you. All local TFS branches are encouraged to be self funding in their activities.

All TFS local branches are encouraged to give further gifts to 3rd party organisations if possible. The preferred beneficiary of the Filling Station as a group is ‘Send a Cow’ a third world development charity helping farmers re-stock with healthy animals. Contact them on: sendacow.org.uk
